This 16′ x 6’6″ 3.5-tonne platform trailer from Bateson offers a robust and versatile solution for transporting machinery, vehicles, building materials, and other heavy loads. The standard trailer is built with a generous loading area and can be customised to suit specific requirements, including optional upgrades such as higher-capacity 1800kg axles.
The largest standard platform trailer in the range features a 5.0m x 2.0m loading bed, with options available to increase the body length up to 6.7m and widths of 2.1m or 2.3m. For customers requiring additional support, three-axle configurations can also be specified. Please note that any increase in the trailer’s unladen weight will reduce the available payload within the maximum legal gross weight of 3,500kg.
Built for durability and long-term reliability, all platform trailers are fully hot-dip galvanised for superior corrosion resistance. They are fitted with premium Avonride fully independent rubber suspension axles, providing excellent towing characteristics and load stability. A hydraulically damped hitch, lockable cast coupling, and power-assisted handbrake come fitted as standard for enhanced safety and ease of use.
